Accessibility Statement

Our approach
Bazan Concrete wants this site to work for everyone, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, or other assistive technology. We build the site toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We do not claim the site is fully compliant or certified. Accessibility is ongoing work, and we keep fixing issues as we find them.
What we have done
- A visible focus outline on every link, button, and form field, built to be visible against both light and dark sections of the site.
- A skip-to-content link for keyboard users, so you can bypass the navigation menu.
- Labels tied to every form field, not just placeholder text.
- Descriptive alt text on images, and decorative images marked so screen readers skip them.
- One heading level per page section, in order, so the page structure makes sense read aloud.
- Reduced motion for visitors who set that preference in their operating system.
- Form errors that are announced to screen readers, not shown by color alone.
Known gaps
We disclose the gaps below instead of hiding them.
- Orange buttons and badges. Our primary call-to-action buttons use white text on our brand orange. Measured against white text, that combination is about 3.1 to 1, short of the 4.5 to 1 target for normal text. We chose not to darken our brand color to force a pass, because that would change how the brand looks sitewide. A phone number link sits next to nearly every one of these buttons as an equally usable way to take the same action.
- Embedded map and spam-check widget. The service-area maps on city pages and the invisible spam check on our forms are built and styled by outside providers (Google). Their appearance and behavior are outside our control.
- Spanish coverage. Our Spanish-language pages currently cover the homepage and thank-you page. The rest of the site is in English only. We plan to expand Spanish coverage over time.
